(no name) ((no email))
Wed, 12 Aug 1998 19:48:29 +0000

Mike Salvetti asked me to forward this to the list at large; he's
having problems posting to the list.

>I recently sat on a eagle bor. This life scout completed all
>requirements and for his project did a web site for our sponsor
>Silverdale Lutheran Church. No problem yet.
>
>Now comes the problems as the board was reviewing his project and
>records before calling in the scout. The advancement chairman
>mentioned that he saw in the newspaper about this scout completing
>his eagle project and it implied that he already recieved his
>eagle. This did not go over very big with the board. This scout
>was supposed to let the sm know of his bor so he can attend, he
>did not. This scout was not in complete uniform just
>shirt and neckerchief. One of the board members refused his bor
>because he was not in complete uniform, I agreed.
>
>The advancement chairman as postpone the bor and will be in Aug
>27.
>
>I need some advice on what to ask this scout and how to deal with
>this. I'm at a lost on the kind of question to ask.
>
>Sorry for the short notice but I'm still having problems sending
>mail to scout-l. Its not getting through.
>
>I'll let everybody know on how this turns out.
>
>thanks in advance. YIS
>
>
>May the scouting spirit live long and prosper
>
>
>Michael Salvetti I have done so much with so
>Troop 1541 little for so long, I can
>Committee Member now do everything with nothing.
>Eagle Dad 1997
>Chief Seattle Council
>Silverdale, Wa
