Be livid? For what? For not having a Pack representative on site? For
someone not responsible for Pack recruiting not doing the best possible
job? Get real!
Sure, it would have been nice to offer to take the name and number and
pass it on, but the Troop personnel gave the enquiring family the basics
-- no one is here with the Pack, but they may be later. If the family is
not interested enough to wait, or come back later, they weren't much of
a prospect to begin with.
Hypothetically speaking, of course. ;-)
