Richard Hammond asked about the new Venturing (not VENTURE, but
VENTURING...there's a DIFFERENCE!) uniforms:

The new Venturing uniforms are already out there...they are the
SAME as the older Exploring uniform shirts (kelly green) with the
option of the Crew to wear charcoal grey slacks or shorts.
The present Exploring shirts can be used...there's a new Venturing
BSA strip coming out within the next five to seven weeks which you
will need to sew on replacing the Exploring BSA strip currently on
the present uniforms; or the older Boy Scouts of America strips on
the older kelly green uniforms (although I don't think that anyone
will put up a fuss if you wore the shirts with the Boy Scouts of
America strip in red on a kelly green background).
The difference: VENTURING is a new older-boy division of the BSA.
VENTURE is the present older-boy program of the Boy Scout division
of the BSA, designed for older boys registered with a Troop.
We are all hoping that the Venture program would get a new name to
avoid the confusions....but....
