Charlie,
It must depend on the Council. We are not required to file tour permits
unless we're going outside of our District area. We also don't have to
file outside of our District if we're attending any Council event. Camp
Oklawaha is a Boy Scout Camp closer to us than our own Council Camp
La-No-Che, but it's out of our district. To travel about 2 hours to
La-No-Che we need no permit (Council event outside of our District). To
travel about 20 minutes to Oklawaha we need a permit. Oh well, it'll be
delegated to our Events Chairperson anyway!
