Death of a Scouter

Alfred Woltz (al_woltz@YAHOO.COM)
Fri, 14 Aug 1998 08:45:42 -0700

Fellow Scouters,

It is with deep regret that I must pass on that a long-time
scouter of the York-Adams Council (Pennsylvania) was recently involved
in an automobile accident and sadly passed away this week.

BOB ULLMAN, served the Mason-Dixon District as the Vice Chairman
of the Mason-Dixon District Advancement Committee; Unit Commissioner
of Troop and Pack 90 (Shrewsbury, PA); Committee Member Troop 90; and
past Cubmaster Pack 90. He was also a member of the order of the Arrow.

He is survived by his wife, Callie, and son Bill, both of whom
are very active in the scouting movement in York-Adams Council.
Callie is a woodbadge graduate of class NEIV-95 (Bobwhite), and her
son is an active member of Troop 90.

Condolences can be sent to:

Callie and Bill Ullman
20 Shetland Drive
Shrewsbury, PA 17361-1209

The viewing will be Friday, August 14th from 6 - 9 pm at Rucks
Funeral Home, 1050 York Road, Towson, MD, and the funeral will be
Saturday, August 15th at 2 pm at Stewartstown Presbyterian Church, 16
College Avenue, Stewartstown, PA. There will be a viewing at the
church at 1 pm prior to the funeral. Burial will be at New Freedom
Cemetery. The family invites everyone to join them for refreshments
afterwards at Bon Air Country Club, Clubhouse Road, Glen Rock, PA.
(You can get driving directions by going to Yahoo.com and looking up
the address in the white pages and then following the directions.)
The family has also asked that any Scouters or Scouts who are planning
to come to the funeral, it would be a nice touch if you wore your
Class A's. "Bob would like that."

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that contributions be
made to:

The Robert J. Ullman Eagle Scout Memorial Scholarship Fund.
York-Adams Area Council
Boy Scouts of America
2139 White Street
York, PA 17404

YIS,

Al Woltz
I used to be a Bobwhite (NEIV-95)
