Our troop, Troop 98 from Derry, NH, also went to Gettysburg this summer.
We went a couple of weeks later, mainly to avoid the crowds and traffic.
We kept a journal available for all the scouts and adults to write their
thoughts throughout the week. The results can be found on our web site
(although I've still got to put in my final thoughts).
In short, a great time was had by all. I highly recommend the trip for
other troops.
