Budgets, Allowances, Etc.

Carol,
Boy what a predicament. I know the conflict. My parents actually
encouraged me NOT to work while I was in school. I kept busy with
Math/Science club, As Schools Match Wits, School paper, School yearbook,
Girl Scouts, National Honor Society. I relied on my parents for spending
money. They relied on me for household help and good grades. I think,
Scouting should make allowances for boys who decide NOT to work. Maybe, we
could budget time, computer time, television time, volunteer time or
something like that? Help with the family budget by doing more household
chores, etc?
