Howdy All,
David is right. In the Lion-Webelos book copyright 1954, page 11 has the
meaning of WBLS. To quote the book, " W B L S are the first letters of:
Wolf, Bear, Lion, Scout.
When you are eight, you earn the Wolf badge.
When you are nine, you earn the Bear badge.
When you are ten, you earn the Lion badge.
When you are ten and half, you earn the Webelos badge.
The Webelos badge means you are ready to be a Boy Scout when you are eleven
years old."
Starting on page 146 are the requirements for the Webelos badge. I won't go
into the requirements. That can be another topic of discussion on a later
date.
BTW, I still have the books. (Thanks mom).
