Re: Cheap Campaign Hats???

(no name) ((no email))
Thu, 23 Jul 1998 05:39:08 +0000

"Rodney D. Hughes" <rohughes@COMP.UARK.EDU> gave me an excuse to
post information that may be of interest to a lot of Scouters:

>We have an Army Surlus store that carries a campain hat that looks
>similar to the B.S.A. model. They run around $18. Some are
>cheaper depending on the condidtion of them. Then you can order
>the leather band that goes around it from the B.S.A. catalog.

Also, check out flea markets and yard sales for similar type deals.

I got the Hat page finally up on the Insignia site. Take a look at
it and see some of the hats the BSA wore in its past and present.
While I'm at it, the Insignia site has has a small face-lift
because many Scouters suggested it. I've added two other pages,
but I still need (pllleeeaaassseee!) a scan of a Tot'em Chip PATCH.
If your Council uses the patch and has it scanned, please send me
privately a copy of it. I'll be happy to credit you and your
Council for the submission.

Settummanque!
