Re: Cell phones in the wilderness

Hello list:

Celleur phones are very well into the modern Technology, but at the same
time should be a vital part of the everyones First aid/survival kit. Many
would say that no, they are no good. The range is so limited....I give it
about 2 years at the most in NB, Canada, and all the phones that are being
sold will roam to all depths of the earths' crust.

THey are very light, and within the year, they will be able to be traced by
emergency 911 dispatch and PMCC. EMO highly recommends such devices on
your trips, becuase you never know when you will need one.

ALot of companies who sell or rent these phones (most of them), will give
you a phone for the weekend or for 5 or so days, under the aggreeement,
that if it is used (only on emergency), that you will pay for it. Just
remember that it is for an emergency purpose only.

Alot complain about getting to the basics, but I feel that basics really
mean to what people can use with ease. Look, at one point in time, there
was no such thing as a bandaid, so we used sheets of gauze and med/ster
tape. Inovotation, voila, you had a wonderful idea that will help everyone
who uses it.

A mirror will only be of aid if there is sun, so remember to always think
about a celluer when you take out the youth.

criticize him and he gets mad at you, you're a mile away and he doesn't
