It says "device approved by your counselor". If the counselor approves
of using a large doll, that's OK. Its not ideal, but nothing ever is
perfect.

You may want to see if a friendly Nurse, Doctor, Fireman, EMT, etc. can
borrow an "annie" from his/her employer for your use.

NO! NO! NO! They only expiration date recognized by BSA is the Scout's
18th Birthday. It is so stated in the Advancement guidelines booklet.

There he is correct.

The SM is correct, and the others were wrong. "2 wrongs don't make a
right"

Here the SM is wrong. There is NOTHING that says that work done before
requesting permission to work with a Counselor on a MB can't be used, so
long as it was done after he JOINED Boy Scouts.

Would he ask your son to start a NEW Stamp or Coin Collection just to
work on the MB, or could he use an existing one?
