This one stopped me short for awhile, however, some other posts got me going
again.

Here again, you can look at the problem to ways. Eliminate it or deal with
it.

If you prefer to hide your head in the sand, avoid issues, throw her out.
Of course that may confirm her fears, bring in the media and several protest
groups to object to the way you are treating bisexuals.

In most (around 45) of the states what she said and/or does is not illegal.

You may want to deal with it. There may be several reasons for her
statement. Maybe it was said to get attention. It worked. Maybe it was
said because she is confused, has not had a date etc. Maybe she is
bisexual, (if you believe you can be bisexual.)

At that age, a lot of drank gallons of alcohol, went to be with everything
on two legs and conquered Mt Everest in our spare time.

Have a simple discussion with her. If she is Knowledgeable enough to make
the statement she can deal with the conversation. Explain to her the
ramifications of her actions. (People upset and people dropping out.)
Explain to her that maybe it is not the correct forum for the discussion.

Her attitude is no different from any other kid her age on any other
subject. Out of gas and going to jail get the same response, No biggie.

If her attitude is one that she connect not deal with it in the BSA, ask her
to resign. Explain her self removal will be better than you having to
through her out.

This is another situation where the problem may not be the words or actions
described. You will have no way of helping this girl deal with the problem
if she is not a member of the BSA. She may not be able to become an Eagle
Scout, but she still may learn and grow and maybe deal with the underlying
problem which has nothing to do with her sexuality or lack there of.
