Dont't know if this will help but our troop has a policy (for adults by
adults). "Any adult that goes on an outing is automatically a leader. A
leader is responsible for all the boys but their own son. Other adult
leaders take care of that adults son. And the trek leader has the
authority to send home any adult who doesn't follow policy". Now
Training helps but this has keep the "mother henning" to an absolute
minimum ( one time). Hardnosed but the program exists for the boys, not
the adults.
