Hey all,
Bob has a good question here... galvanized steel is covered with a zinc
compound. Having welded galvanized steel and woken up on a ventilator in the
ER of Shands in Gainesville, I also urge you to be careful. As long as there
is water in the bucket, the zinc should not give off the deadly green gas
for which it is famous. It has to get pretty hot for that. However, having
permanently lost some of my lung capacity, I would never allow it around me.
Stainless steel or copper... thank-you fine.
Pete
