Re: Word Games

Mike Blair asked for word games. Here are 2 oldies but goodies, just
remember, the kids may not have ever heard these, even if we have.

1) There is a plane crash on the US/ Canada Border. The plane
crashes exactly on the border, not on one side or the other. On which side
would you bury the survivors?

2) There is a bad traffic accident with a father and his son, both are
badly injured. They are rushed to the hospital, where the father is
evaluated in the ER and the boy is rushed into the operating room. The
surgeon there looks at the boy, gasps and say, "I cannot operate on this
boy, he is my son!" How can that be?

(This is a blood relative, no step-parents, etc)

Okay ready?

Answers:

1) It is probably not a good idea to bury the survivors, they have been
through enough already.

2) The surgeon is the boy's mother. (Hah! Gotcha!)

(Needless to say I find the second one to be most satisfying! <VBG>)

Love this thread!
