Would you still argue against the "honor" system if you knew the Adult's
mother tongue was Spanish?
Would the "testing" still be appropriate for a youth whose mother tongue
was Spanish?
The language taught in American schools and universities as Spanish is
most often Castillian; speakers of Western Hemisphere Spanish are usually
thought ungrammatical with poor pronounciation by pure Castillian speakers.
And this might present a problem in testing, as well.
Not intended as a flame, merely an interested question on the nuances. (g)
