all packs go in 3-year cycles as good folk come in & go out with their sons.
unless the pack committee (ha! ha!) is constantly adding to the CM, CA, DL,
DA, WL, WA staff, no more good people will be added.
many parents still think of us as a baby sitting organization. often, all it
takes is asking for help with a little task. then another little task. ...
then you set the hook and reel 'em in. but you've got to get them to take on
the first little task, and let them know that they're not the Lone Ranger as
far as your helpers are concerned.
choose some task that you could do in your sleep, if necessary, to find things
for others to do. remember, you're not so much trying to get the task done as
you are trying to develop another leader.
