I do not know the specific requirements for BSA Lifeguard, _BUT_ my
daughter is helping to pay for her college expenses as a Lifeguard.
Every year she must recertify in "CPR for the Professional Rescuer" from
the American Red Cross. The initial cost is approximately $50, which
includes the text and a "pocket mask." Subsequent years the cost is
approximately $35 because the student can reuse his/her book and mask.
Call your local Red Cross office for couse availability.
