Re: Getting dads to join us in Cub Scouting

We've had luck by making our first Pack outing an overnight trip to the USS
Kidd Destroyer in Baton Rouge or the USS Alabama in Mobile.

All the Dads turn out for this trip which allows them to get to know the
leaders and other Dads while the boys run around the ship. It can be a real
bonding experience. Afterwards, it is not as difficult identifying the Dads
that would make good leaders.
