Male involvement in Cub Scouts - for Karl

My trained and recruited best-friend/Assistant Den Leader stepped down
when the Scouts were promoted to Webelos. She stated up front she would
do this - 1) We needed to get parents involved, which we did 2) in HER
day, when her son was a Scout, women leaders couldn't go to Webelos. (Can
you guess her age?) Nothing I could do to dissuade her. My husband took
her place.
