New Eagle Scout

Dick Sofian (dsofian@JUNO.COM)
Sun, 24 May 1998 21:08:46 EDT

It is with a great deal of pride that I announce that as of
7:30 P.M. EST on May 24, 1998, Aaron Sofian passed his
Eagle Scout Board of Review.

As many of you may recall, about a year ago I solicited
comments about the scope of family involvement in the
carrying out of the Eagle project. Many of you were kind
enough to respond with many helpful ideas and suggestions.

Aaron's project involved researching the military records of
about 20 veterans who were buried in the local cemetery
and did not have markers of any kind to commemorate their
service. He subsequently had plaques made up, and placed
them in the cemetery, happily before Memorial day.

We invite you to visit his eagle project web site at:

http://www.geocities.com/Yosemite/6028/eproject.html

If you are inclined to send congratulatory notes, Aaron's email
address is asofian@juno.com, or I will print out any sent to me
directly to read at his Court of Honor.

YIS,

Dick Sofian - dsofian@juno.com
