We just had our council's Family Jamboree...could have a whole discussion
on that..but we won't right now...we had to keep the fires off the ground,
as in your case, it was at the local music center, and we camped in the
parking area...we put two dutch ovens on the ground, and one of our ASMs
had made a fire pit with a bottom of a 50-gal drum...works real well...put
holes around the side to help breathe....
