The way Troopmaster handles it is correct.
The OA rules are specific: you can only count one long-term
camp of 6 days for the requirement (this is the maximum and
also the minimum).
The remaining days must be short-term camping.
This means that 10 nights must be from short-term
camping. It's not unreasonable to require an "honor
camper" to attend an average of 5 weekend trips each
year.
