This is getting like the Ann LAnders bit on "How we met and fell in love"...
so can ya stand one more?
I ran out of the house late to training (I do the Yoot Protection stuff) and
found to my horror that the gas gauge was on the big red E. Pulled into the
gas station, pumped the tank full, and reached into the back pocket for the
wallet.... no wallet. Still in briefcase at home.
Took off summer straw Smokey, slunk into office, explained myself,
apologised... and they said, "We know you'll come back!"
And I did.
