Am I Over-reacting?

Okay, I'll put the flame retardant suit on for this position....

Yes, the commissioner staff and training staff should be in full uniform.
Yes, they set an example, just as we all set an example for the boys.

Now with that being said...

The complete uniform is expensive, as has already been stated here. When I
need additional trainers for special training, such as Outdoor Webelos
Training, I ask the people that I think have the best knowledge of that
skill. Some of these people don't wear the BSA pants. I'll gladly take
them in their jeans and the rest of their uniform. I would *LOVE* for them
to be in full uniform, but I am grateful for their help. I know in at least
one case, money is a factor.

Another consideration is that some larger people *cannot* find pants that
fit and are comfortable. I know about all the larger sizes, but sometimes
those aren't going to work.

I don't know the circumstances on why a unit commissioner would come to
a Board of Review without being in complete uniform. *HOWEVER*, he was
needed to help out and he did.

I only have one pair of uniform pants that I can currently get into. At
the last Cub Roundtable, I spilt half a soda on my pants within the last 10
minutes of leaving my house. I went in jeans.
