Embarressed by uniform.....NOT I

HI ALL,

I just want to relate my story, although it hasn't happend yet it's going
to real soon.

I broke my glasses and am non-functioning without them. I have an
appointment with the optometrist this afternoon at 3pm. I also have a
Webelos meeting tonight at 6:30pm. Now from where I live to the eye
doctor and then to the mall (1 hour lab) and back to where I live will
take about 2.5 hours. I also need to factor in the time it will take to
have my eyes examined and the time it will take to pick out new frames.
UH OH I'm going to be late for my Webelos meeting!!! I have someone to
cover that part for me.

NOW, If I set the example for my boys and I expect them to be in uniform
I must also be in uniform. So I'm off to put on my FULL BSA uniform and
wear it to the eye doctor and the mall and most importantly to the
Webelos meeting.

OH ya the truck needs gas so I guess I'll do that too.

What would you do? Wear the uniform in PUBLIC? Take it with you and
change at the mall? Not wear it at all and tell the Scouts why your not
in uniform?
