OK Let me tell you how we do this
1> Based upon your wishes I will bring it up =
at the next Troop Committee Meeting that =
you wish to Stop Scouting and we will then
put you on our "InActive" List.
2> I will advise your current PL to occassionally
invite you to a meeting or an Outing. Please
be nice to him since he is doing something
difficult to do that I have asked him as a
young new leader to do.
3> Since (you or we) have paid for your subscription
to Boys Life you will continue to receive it.
I hope you enjoy the stories, and yarns.
4> Before our Next ReChartering I or someone in
the Troop will call both you and your Parents
to see if you still want to Stop Scouting.
5> The Troop Committee will then remove your name,
advise our Chartering Organization and submit
our Charter to BSA without your name.
6> If at any time you wish to restart scouting
please come visit us or your Council office
to find a place you would enjoy scouting.
