Re: Active Scouts

We set the rule to be in tents, in bed between 10 and 10:30. Quiet begins
at 10:30. I sometimes go around and quiet those talking after 10:30.
That usually takes care of it for the rest of the time. We let everyone
know our policy prior to going out and they seem to respect it. We also
explain that if they don't get their rest, they can get sick, be
exhausted, etc. (I have seen all that happen years ago). Once you
establish the tradition, it is easy to keep it going. If you let them
talk, they will expect to do it all night on every outing.
