Lorie,

I am very sorry for all the Scouts and Scouters of Etowah Creek District in
the aftermath of the death of 9 year old J.P. Blizzard. May many support you
in prayer as you deal with this loss.

I must say that hot dogs are a dangerous form of food because they are round
and smooth. They can too easily be inhaled and block the airway. All parents
and Scout leaders should consider avoiding the use of hot dogs or cut them in
ways which break their cylinderical shape. If we can learn from this tradegy,
then J.P.s experience will help to save others.

Again, I hope your faith in a loving God will sustain you all through these
difficult times.

YinS,

Charlie Morrison
