A New Eagle Scout

I would like to proudly announce a new Eagle Scout from Explorer
Post 358, Citrus Heights, California, Aaron Adams. Aaron passed
his Eagle Board of Review Sunday Evening, February 22, 1998. For
his Eagle project he organized the Scouts and fellow Post members
to collect new and used toys for the local recreation and parks
district's
after-school program. He directed the process of cleaning and repairing
the used toys, and build a storage cabinet for the rec. & park district
for
keeping all the toys. In the process of advertising his project, he
managed
to get an article printed in the local paper describing what he was
doing.
This brought in such a response, his house was filled with toys for
several weeks. His goals and expectations for this project were met
three times over. A fine young man, indeed.
