Hi Charlie,

First a little fun,

You wouldn't be any relation to The Rev Charlie Morrison
now would you. ((OK OK only a Joke)). It's fun to see
people with the same first name or last name on Jon's
Scouts-L List. An Old Guy (older than me anyway) formerly
of Texas Way (A Radio Man and HAM to boot) now in Arizona
and a young guy from London, UK are two of the many who
share my first name and we are each "Beloved and Dance"
Hi David Zinder,(How did your recent event turn out) =

Hi David Ball(<How are those studies and younger brother)

One Scout-Lr was working in late 1997 with Jon Eidson, our =

Listserve GOD from Texas Christian University (TCU) to =

improve on the Welcoming Message to include some of these =

abbreviations you requested. (I haven't checked YET)

I had lots of fun welcoming newbies for awhile last year and
here is my most current list of abbreviations for you and
any other newbies to this great Jon, Mike, Mike, Gary, Neil
Jon, Alan, Grant, Kirk, Calvin, John, Linda, Cheryll, Tony,
Larry, Pete, Pete, Tom, James, Kim, Jan, Robert, Scout-L list
(Sorry I had to Give Up, So Many Good People tires me out)

So for you and other newbies here is the bottom of my
last message for your enjoyment

My only advice tid bits beyond Jon's/Mike(s) great Guidelines
>If you don't get what you want and need
>Or you got stuff but need more, or you got nothing
>Persevere and Hit Scouts-L once, twice, three times,
> making sure you tell us it is your 2nd or 3rd time.
>The Vast Majority of Scout-Lrs do their best yet miss sometimes
>We tend to know each other and expect someone is going to respond
>publicly to the list or privately. We have so many good people here
>who practice the SS that it is hard to believe we as a mind mass
>miss things. We DO!! so give us your hand to help you.
>
>Remember we have young ladies of 92 on this list as well as
>young men of 10 so temper your responses with your audience.
>
>Holler and Be Mad if it helps, yet as Jon notes remember the SO
> and SL and pass questionable items to Jon.
>
>If you are a paid professional or a person who is breaking your =

>council's current rules be a bit careful since you do owe a bit =

>more allegiance to your local group than you do to cyberspace.
