The one big problem that I see with embroidering name "tags" directly on =
uniform shirts is that it will severely hamper recycling of uniforms. =20
Scout age boys tend not to remain the same size for long, and uniform =
items are not inexpensive. Many Troops attempt to redistribute =
out-grown uniforms to smaller boys to help keep costs down. It is hard =
enough getting the boys to wear uniforms -- I expect it will be even =
harder to get "Tommy Jones" to wear a shirt embroidered "Fred Smith."
