As one of the top scorers on my college's NCAA Archery Team, and a rabid
competition archer for several years afterward (I got married...), I
heartily recommend the two-hour sessions.

Archery is not a sport that a Scout can learn in 20-minute doses, the
approximate actual shooting time that a one-hour class affords each
boy. When shooting without sights, as they must in order to earn the
badge, a boy needs to learn his natural point of aim FOR EACH DISTANCE.
That can only be done by practice, practice, and more practice.
One-on-one coaching can significantly reduce the time it takes to
develop this knowledge, but that won't happen at summer camp.

Go for two hour sessions!

The blacksmithing Scouter,
Drew
