I did something like this with our troop. The boys brought their tents and
we set them up and discussed to pros and cons of each and what season they
would be good for; everyone unpacked their packs and we went over what they
had they didn't need and what they didn't have that they needed.
Advancements were signed off, general questions were answered, and then we
did a little braiding with craft strip. The guys had a great time and it
was very productive.
