On Sat, 3 Jan 1998, WMcCole pointed out a typographical error in my post
on this subject ... it should, of course, have read that Boy Scout troops
in the USA were registered with UK Headquarters in {1909} not 1919. These
troop were " overseas " units of B-P's Boy Scout Association. Of course,
there were also " 100% American " units in the form of Seaton's Woodcraft
Indians and other similar groups led by Dan Beard and others.

Apologies for any confusion ...
