Charcoal Tables

I have seen this and implemented it myself. Go to your local auto supply
and buy 2 galvinized steel oil drain pans. Then, go to your hardware
store and purchase 6-8 large nails (I do'nt know the penny size but they
are like tent stake size). Or you could use tent stakes. Drive 3-4 of
these into the ground and set your drain pan (charcoal table) on top.
I use a charcoal chimney starter to light the charcoal, (regular
charcoal is much less expensive than matchlite). I the can tong coals
into the drain pan for the dutch oven. This keeps the charcoal up off
the ground. No need for a fire pit, and when there is a no ground fire
rule in effect, satifies that as well.
