My Son's Eagle Project

Jim Peterson (kupete@KUHUB.CC.UKANS.EDU)

Dear Kirk et al,

As the second "evil one" who asked about your son's project, let me
apologise profusely if I in any way offended either you or your son.
Please know that it was never my intent to do that.

I suppose I am guilty of thinking that just about anything any of
us post here is "food for comment". Frankly, I enjoy hearing different
views and approaches to Eagle projects from all over the USA. My comments
were intended to express only what was common in our district and unit -
not as prescription for what should be done in yours. If the comments read
that way, then accept my appologies. I certainly wouldn't want to be a
"buttinsky".

Someone commented that he thought my remarks "disparaged" your son
by commenting on the project....my feeling is that if your son is this far
along in the scouting program he has to be a pretty neat kid!

My offer of a tired flag from the great state of Kansas still
stands. Please send me your snailmail address and it will be on the way
within the week.

BLUE SKIES!,

Jim Peterson
