Over thirty years ago Randy Slider helped to make a documentary film
about Boy Scouting (see below) and now is trying to find a VHS copy of
the film. If any of the 2000 or so readers of this list can help, I know
Randy would sure appreciate it. Please respond directly to Randy at
rsly1@flash.net if you have any information that would help.

Subject: Documentary Search
Mike:
My name is Randolph (Randy) Slider. I earned Eagle in 1963,
Pasadena, California. I've been searching for a copy of a documentary I
made representing the Boy Scouts of America in 1964. The program was
sponsored by the Freedom Foundation at Valley Forge, and filmed at
President Dwight D. Eisenhowers home in Palm Springs, CA by NBC, channel
4. The program aired on national television several times in 1964, and
I am using 'net' resources in an attempt to obtain a VHS copy.
My legacy in scouting is attributable to my fathers (William 'Bill'
Slider) unending ardor and stamina in taking this program to so many
young boys, and through his motivational skills, producing young men of
character, direction, and vision.
I am a fraternal member of the "Knights of Dunamis" which was
proctored by Lee Harbottle, BSA, Pasadena, CA...1964.
Any assistance regarding this request will be deeply appreciated.
