I'm glad that works for your troop, but I don't know of any other troops
that can do that. To me, it seems you've got the requirements a tad
strict. True, your troop will have the best troop guides around, but how
many poeple like that will you find?
The age requirement is a good thing. The Eagle requirement isn't that
bad, if you have a large supply of them as ya'll obivously do. I could
live with the SPL requirment as well. And yes, the troop guide should be
able to communicate well. The rest of your requirements seem a little
too much to me.
Every meeting? First Responder? CPR instructor? 2.70? That's not a troop
guide. Just add x-ray vision and you could call him Superman. :-)
If this system works for your troop, then definitely keep at it. I wish
our troop could require things like that. If you're having trouble
finding troop guides, then you might want to consider losing a few od
the requirements. But like I said, if ya'll can require that, then keep
up the good work.
