Re: "ringing in" for Jeopardy

(Jan, send me your snailmail address please...I have a couple more Cub Scout
uniforms for your Pack! I've been saving them up over there *pointing to a
box over by my desk* and it's time to "clean the office room up and find
more paper to post!* *heeheheee*)
May I add two more suggestions for Alicia...one I love because I saw it in
action:

*three different whistles, each with a different "sound". They got theirs
from McDonalds.....one was a high-pitched one, the other was a middle sound,
and the other one was a regular Scout whistle. In a large gym, the sound
could be both deafning and also funny at the same time....
*baby dolls that makes a sound. It was so funny....the Pack played "Scout
Jeopardy" and invited a Brownie and Junior Girl Scout Troop to participate.
The girls had as their "partners" a GI-Joe-type doll that when you pulled on
the ring, said things like "Let's GO!" or "Mission Accomphished!", and they
belonged to a Cub Scout. The Cub Scouts had a baby doll that said things
like "I'm thirsty" or "Please hold me", so when they "buzzed in", of course
everyone was laughing and it tended to throw some Scouts off-track.
That was one of the funniest game shows I've ever seen....because during the
"Double Jeopardy" round, the dolls were taken out and replaced with those
"See and Say" games that babies have....three different See and Says, one
with animal noises, another with Sesame Street characters, and yet another
with rhymes and cute short songs! Because every time you use the See and
Say, it randomly "picks" something to play or say, you never know what would
come out of those games!!
It was a great evening and the game didn't "drag onward" and become boring
because of those dolls and games.
