100 Scouts

The Payne Family (payne5@SWBELL.NET)
Tue, 18 Nov 1997 00:32:31 -0600

Can someone help this Scoutmaster? If so, please reply to him directly.
Thanks.

Thought the list might like this too.

Here goes, Dennis,

(From _Go For the Eagle_, by Nancy and Deam Hoch)

Did you know?

That for every 100 youth that join Scouting...
12 will have their first contact with a church,
5 will earn their church's religious emblem,
1 will enter the clergy
18 will develop hobbies that will last through their adult life,
8 will enter a career that was introduced through the merit badge
system,
1 will use Scouting skills to save another person's life,
1 will use Scouting skills to save his own life,
17 will become Scouting volunteers
2 will become Eagle Scouts.

"These figures, published in a Northern California's Golden Empire
Council Newsletter, are from a survey of Scouts and non-Scouts in
various School and colleges around the country."

YiS,
Beth Payne
