Devin,
I am sorry to hear of the suicide. My thoughts and prayers go out to
you and the others who knew him.
This summer we had a similar experience. However, it was with an older
boy who had worked in a staff position at summer camp. It devastated
many of the Scouts, leaders, and staff who knew him.
I know of at least two Scouts who have considered suicide. The main
thing to teach boys is that there is nothing in this world that it is
worth killing yourself for. You are hurting many more people than you
ever intended to.
