Re: cub scout overnight (safe scouting guidelines)

In the Cub Scout Leader Book it refers to these "unsanctioned" overnights
as "Family Overnight" or "Family Camp". There must be one adult per Cub.
We've always used this rule for any sort of camping that was not on BSA
property. It's the same as if they were camping with just their family.
The parents are responsible for their children and this is clearly
understood before any overnighter.
