Ginny, IMHO you are asking too much from your Webelos. The Webelos
patrol leader doesn't have to be a great leader to start. The
idea is to give each boy a taste of what it takes to be a leader,
and start him growing so that he can be a leader in the future.
You should have an older boy scout assigned to your Webelos as
a den chief. This is the person that you can rely on during the
meetings. He will also function as a role model, and give
the boys someone to look up to.
