In response to the Gillams troubles with their SM and CC.
There is one thread that seems to be missing in a lot of the issues that get
talked about here.
The Unit Commissioner and the Chartered Rep should/could be the ones to handle
a lot of these issues. Particularly one like the Gillams have. If the
problem is big enough the ADC or even the District Commisioner should get
involved.
Using these commissioners helps put someone in the middle that is (should) be
impartial and is representing of Boy Scouts. I know in my own
District/Council the commissioners staff is weak but is it that way
everywhere?
Maybe if we had more functional commissioners some of these issues would not
even arise.
