An apology (of sorts)
Doug Adams (adamsdo@RADIKS.NET)

To Bruce and others I might have offended,
I didn't mean to come down so hard on the "jewelry in uniform" issue.
This little item struck a very raw nerve, and I lost my cool. In my
eagerness to prove a point, I forgot the "Scout is Courteous" part. To
you, I apologize. Aside from a strongly differing view (which I will
still not compromise), I hope that this in no way affects my credibility
in this discussion group.
To whomever started this line of discussion by asking what they thought
was an innocent question, you'll have to decide for yourself whether or
not to adopt a jewelry policy.
Humbly,
Doug (" I'm not the 'Hitchhiker' !") Adams
