Re: ANNOUNCEMENT SONG

I wish we would bury this song for good! It is really an irritation to
many of us who have to sit through it while the camp staff seems to
delight in dragging it out almost forever. At our camp, it occurs after
meals when someone slips and uses the word "announcement". The whole
camp sits and waits for the song to end so we can get on with the
"announcements" and be dismissed from the dining hall. It may be fun for
the staff, but in my view, it is just a delay in getting on with the
program for the rest of the day. I guess I am tired of it, hearing it
for several years. It would not be so bad if it was short, but it goes
on and on and on and....

This is my personal opinion only.
