At the wake for my cousin's funeral a few years ago, my aunt (his mother)
just up and died. No big attack or anything, she just cried & died. I
understand what you're saying very intimately.

Funny thing, though -- that kind of love isn't/wasn't his calling. The
"rest of the world" loves her much differently than a spouse would/should.
Another funny thing is that, as you said below, we really can't see what's
in his heart. I happen to think that the Royal Family is being very
gracious to fly the flag at half mast at the castle (a breach of protocol?)
and even to publicly acknowledge the loss of the Princess.
