WOODEN CUTTING BOARDS

On Sat, 30 Aug 1997 00:01:43 -0500 Jim Peterson wrote
about Cutting Boards. I may have missed the earlier part of the
thread, if there was one, but. . . .If your choice is a wooden
Cutting Board, Always make sure that you either buy a commercially
made wooden cutting board or you make one from UNTREATED LUMBER.
In the U.S.A. , at least, most lumber is treated to prevent insect
infestation and sometimes the treatment is with chemicals that are
as deadly to humans as to insects.
