Re: Kerosene Question Solved???

I won't speak for most countries, but down here, South of The Mason-Dixon
Line, you buy lamp oil in quart bottles at the drug store or the K-Mart.
Kerosene is sold by places like Farm Bureau, Southern States, the Grange,
and gas/petrol stations, by the gallon into the container you bring with you.

Lamp oil is also usually colored and often scented. You keep it around
for hurricane season and squirrel suicide season (an incredible number of
squirrel leap into electric transformers like Polynesian Virgins into the
volcano) ...

Of course, you probably CAN use kerosene (a.k.a. coal-oil) in an oil
lamp, but I don't think I want to risk it. Color me yellow?
